Mount Venere (900 mt mean sea level) and Mount Ziretto (500 mt. m.s.l.), that are in front of Villa Pace, are one of the most important destination for who practice hang gliding and paragliding (free fly) in Sicily and in Italy. From Villa Pace they are easily reached on foot (20 minutes Mount Venere – 10 min. Mount Ziretto) and by car (10 min. M.V. – 5 min. M.Z.). Mount Venere and Mount Ziretto each have a real natural track for launching, also for powered flight. Everyone is free to go when he wants without paying anything and enjoy, while flying, the beauty of Taormina, its surroundings and the Etna in front of.
Mount Venere and Mount Ziretto also were for many years two of the favorites points of launch for Angelo D'Arrigo.
